Triton Trio-Chamber Music Ensemble

Three outstanding artists, Ani Kavafian, violin, William Purvis, horn, and Mihae Lee, piano, long-time colleagues and friends join together to create the wondrous sonorities of the Triton Trio. LCO welcomes this seasoned Chamber Music Northwest ensemble.

Serenade of the Heart-Chamber Orchestra

Friday, December 5, 8:00 p.m. – First Baptist Church, 125 SE Cowls St.

Our first orchestral concert features the combined talents of the LCO, Linfield choirs and student vocal soloists. These groups join forces to present J.S. Bach’s Magnificat. This grand hymn of praise quotes the words of Mary when she learns that she is to give birth to a Savior, and Bach holds nothing back in his resplendent heralding of the news.

Across Time-Chamber Orchestra

Friday, March 13, 8:00 p.m. – Ice Auditorium

Music spanning more than two centuries, four countries and at least as many style periods will fill the air. Our trombone soloist for the Larrson is Suzanne Mudge, former principal trombonist of the Modesto Symphony and the San Francisco Women’s Philharmonic.

Our final concert will showcase some of Linfield College’s finest music students as we feature the LCO concerto competition winners. In addition to these talented soloists, the LCO will present a pair of symphonies.
